Using select furniture grade wood species including; Cherry, Rustic Cherry, Hard Maple, Rustic Maple, Clear and Knotty Alder, Hickory, Northern Red Oak, Quarter Sawn Red Oak, and Quarter Sawn White Oak, as well as Walnut. We also offer solid painted finishes on Maple.

We use Woodwright stains custom formulated right here in Wisconsin. Stains that bring out the natural beauty of the woods themselves. Paint finishes feature Sherwin-Williams colors. The cabinetry is then topcoated with a clear catalyzed conversion varnish finish to add years of durability to your cabinetry.

Our all wood cabinetry uses ¾” thick solid wood in the face frames and door frames, as well as decorative frame and panel sides when requested. Our standard side panel is a full ¾” thick plywood, flush with the edge of the face frame when exposed, or a¼” reveal when not exposed for ease of installation. Our face frames and side panels are all“pocket screwed” and glued for rigid construction. Back panels use a solid wood hanging bar system integrated into the box of the cabinet with a 1/4” plywood back to cover the wall.

The interior of our cabinetry is a natural Maple with a Catalyzed Clear Coat finish. Fixed bottom shelves are flush with the face frame opening. Center panels in our doors are also solid wood, consisting of ½” solid wood material, whether we are showing a recessed center panel or a raised center panel. Drawer boxes are made of solid birch sides, with ¼” plywood bottoms that are recessed into each side panel. Our standard drawer box is 5/8” thick sided, dovetailed corner for a high end furniture appearance. Our standard drawer slides are Blumotion, full extension with soft-close. Our hinges are also from Blum, fully concealed, six way adjustable with soft-close. And each hinge can switch the soft-close feature on or off.

Our doors are available as standard overlay with a 1" reveal, full overlay with 1/4” reveal or inset into the middle of the face frame. We offer a variety of exterior edge profiles and interior edge profiles for our doors, as well as 2 1/2”, 3" and 3 1/2" door frame widths. And we can also do custom door frame widths when desired. Again we are a hand crafted, custom cabinet so special sizes are not a difficulty for us.
