Kelsey & Thomas:
“We had an extremely small kitchen that we struggled to fit appliances into and to cook in. We wanted more of an open design, and we wanted to optimize the space around the existing kitchen. The placement of the stove put our backs to the room, and the placement of the refrigerator blocked most of the space, so we wanted those to change. While the majority of the other designers we talked to just refreshed the space, Al listened to us closely, thought outside the box, and created a design that transformed and maximized our space.
“We ended up taking all of Al’s design suggestions, quadrupled the counter space and cabinets, and opened up the kitchen to create a more open space. Al was excellent at communication both with the designs and throughout the process. During installation, we discovered that one of our cabinets was cut to the wrong size. We were amazed that the builders came to our house and quickly and expertly made the adjustments on-site. Al gave us realistic expectations of the timing of the project and communicated updates as needed. We were pleasantly surprised that countertops came in sooner than projected and we finished slightly ahead of schedule.

 

“We LOVE our new kitchen. We have more space, much more counter space, and a large eat-at island that doubles as a kids’ work space and game area. Our kitchen beautifully maximizes our usable space. We didn’t know that the design we have was even possible prior to meeting with Al. We were blown away by our new space!“

You provided a long list of wants and needs for your kitchen and adjoining spaces. And then allowed us to twist and turn things to give us options to meet those wants and needs.

Those that I have shown photos to of your kitchen are really taken back by what we were able to accomplish considering the space that we started with.
